Sports Massage at Physio Art
Sports massage, myofascial release, soft tissue manipulation, it doesn't matter what you call it, let's face it nothing beats a really good rub down. You don't have to be an athlete to benefit from sports massage, many people who sit at their desks for too long find that a good sports massage is helpful in relieving the pain that comes from tight and tense back, neck and shoulder muscles. Lots of runners do have sports massage though, it can help keep the legs muscles relaxed and flexible, and can be especially helpful if you have been ramping up the mileage, or been doing some sessions that have had a higher intensity.
Some of our physios are specially trained in sports massage, book yourself in and give it a go. (you can also quiz them on training or injury management tips whilst you're lying face down being pummelled).
